TOPIC: “Covenant Relationships”
God is relational. He desires to have relationship with us and help us build relationships with others. The “flavor” of our meetings will be Messianic Jewish and will also be geared around the biblical feast days. We will light the Shabbat (Sabbath) candles (with traditional Messianic Jewish prayers in Hebrew and English), integrated with communion, at every meeting.
The book we base our study on is “Covenant Relationships” by Asher Intrater, a Messianic Jewish apostolic leader and pastor, living and ministering in Jerusalem, Israel.
We will also be exploring the Hebraic (Jewish) roots of the Christian faith, and we will learn about the Biblical feasts as the seasons for them come. These include Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Feast of First Fruits, Shavuot (Pentecost), Rosh HaShanah (Feast of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles).
